In a mysterious and surreal buffer zone somewhere between Tehran and Winnipeg, the lives of several characters intertwine in surprising and mysterious ways. Students Negin and Nazgol find a sum of money frozen in the winter ice and attempt to retrieve it. Meanwhile, Massoud leads a group of increasingly confused tourists through Winnipegโs monuments and historical sites. Matthew leaves his meaningless job at the Quebec government office and embarks on a mysterious journey to visit his mother. Space, time and personal identities disappear, intertwine and echo in a surreal comedy of disorientation.
